Apple’s new lineup includes the Macbook Air (M1), 13″ Macbook Pro (M1) and the Mac Mini (M1). All of these products are enhanced by Apple’s M1 chip which is the first instance of the company.

When I bought my Mac Mini with full specs, I really hoped I would be able to play Sims 3 decently, but it all turned out to be a disaster.
I could not play Sims 3 in MacOS because the game kept crashing, and having sever graphical corruptions. When I started the game in Windows 10, it was playable, but still, I was really disappointed not being able to play the game on more than low-mid-settings.
But, I have learned by my mistakes. When playing Sims 3, the graphics card on your Mac/PC is essential for having a decent gaming-exerience. You may have 16GB of RAM, and an i7 processor, but if your graphics card is not compatible with Sims 3, then you'll not have a decent experience.

This summer, I will buy a max specd MacBook Pro 2017, I will try to remember your post and come back with some feedback from my experience playing the game (: I have no plans installing Windows on that one too though, I feel Windows is so slow compared with MacOS, at least on my Mac Mini.

- Hi i recently purchased a 13' macbook air and i love it because it is very fast at loading. I really want to download the sims 4 and expansion packs/add ons which i had on my previous laptop that wasn't apple but I'm scared that the game won't work properly or be really slow or it might slow down my computer.
- Now Sim City Complete Eddition is by far the best, even though my version of Sim City 4 won’t work on my new computer and I kinda miss it. It is fairly easy to play but, can get a little complicated at times. My favororite part is building the megatowers. Building the VU Tower and taking normal sims and converting them into criminals is fun.
- Would the new MacBook Air 2020 handle The Sims 4? I’m planning on getting the MacBook Air 2020, Intel Core i5, 16GB memory and 256GB of storage when the Apple stores open up again after the virus. Would the above MacBook Air be able to handle playing The Sims 4? Yeah, it should run it fairly well.
